![]() ![]() Maybe in duels its different but I only played 3v3. Some purple skills are ok, but again, other classes can do what she can better with less risk and more options, and her identity doesnt seem worthwhile in 3v3, not to mention its pain to build it up. Her main damaging abilities are slow and all but one can be interrupted, the teleport slam is particularly bad since you are vulnerable during the entire animation, even mid teleport when you are technically not "on screen", so it's hard to gauge what can clip you and cancel the skill. Her dagger throw is difficult to land in pvp and has that annoying microsecond delay before you can teleport. ![]() I tried playing reaper in pvp only a couple of times and dropped her due to how awful it felt (in pvp), and I have never seen much success from other reapers (enemy or teammate) in 3v3 (the only mode I played so far). This playstile is very unique and not for everyone.ĭidnt pvp that much, and most of my pvp was done on shadowhunter, as a ranged harass build with using identity for pressure\big damage. You just jump around your opponent and take their hp bits after bits. Unlike many other classes reaper has no standart bursting combo. At first it was really hard to figure out how to play reaper in pvp, since this class is just different. I myself started playing reaper only couple of months ago. If you wan't to play ranked pvp, just forget about that class. It's really hard to peel bard from reaper due to their mobility. The only thing reaper shine at in 3v3 is preasuring bard. Also reaper's own stun has very low duration, which only applies stun immunity on opponents to ruin teammate's gameplan. Smart players will just ignore you untill you jump into their CC yourself and them just oneshot you. Reaper is squishiest class with no SA, low damage and long cooldowns. In 3v3 reaper takes honorable place at bottom of tierlists and title of most useless class in the game. After all, reaper have almost no SA herself. But reaper absolutely can't do anything against other fast classes with SA like devil hunter or striker. Reaper has great matchup against slow classes (blaster, all warriors, deathblade), they just can't catch you, and they are easy to hit with your dagger (main combo starting ability). In 1v1 reaper is relatively strong, not as strong as S tier classes (deathblade, devil hunter, striker, lance master), but really annoying to fight against. Moonlight reaper is pure bursting class, Thrist reaper is sustained dps class, which builds agility and mindlessly spams all abilities off CD. Also squishiest class, which makes them relatively hard to play. Most dinamic class with 2 ways to jump over the boss. Can't say anything about Thrist build, but Moonlight feels awesome to play. Many users say that Thirst playstyle is more faster and fun but that is subjective at the end of the day. If you are bad you will be floor PoV, if you are good you will be a good dealer. The upside is you have the most amount of tools in the game to position yourself. You just spam red skills off CD and maintain Chaos.ĭo note that you are still a very squishy class which relies on back attacks. It will start ticking down and it refreshes each time you use a green/purple skill. It will automatically put you into Chaos state with enhanced stats for 9 seconds (Lvl 3). Thirst Engraving (Sustained dps playstyle) - You build up your red identity bar using green/purple skills. Build gauge -> Stealth -> Red Skill -> Build gauge -> Stealth -> Red Skill 2 -> etc. Continue this and cycle through your red skills. Once you can go stealth, you pop it and then look to use one of your red skills for the bonus damage because the engraving negates the 5s wait time. Moon Engraving (Burst playstyle) - You build up your green identity bar (no point building up the red one) using green/purple skills. Reaper has two different playstyles that are both viable. ![]()
